Abstract

In this research paper, the changing nature of space competition with India and China is studied especially in reference to space policy for Pakistan. It examines the strategic drivers of the competition, the capabilities of the two countries and where that has left regional geopolitics. Based on methodologically qualitative, this research provides an overall review regarding the behaviors according to the document analysis and expert interviews. Highly relevant results revealed that security concerns in the region are being heightened and Pakistan is fast aligning with China in a number of its space activities. The paper finally offers policy planning prescriptions for Pakistan to improve space capacity and national security in the emerging wider regional dynamics.
